Coming in at $309.99 for the initial release sizes of 300x and 400x reels, the new Accurate Ascender reels are still loaded with top-quality features. Starting off with the patented Accurate TwinStarDrag technology that makes for a smooth and powerful drag that applies even pressure on both sides of the spool. The body of the Accurate Ascender reels is made of T6 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum for a lightweight and durable reel. The finish is a sleek-looking black anodized finish that helps with corrosion resistance. The Ascender comes with ABEC 3 bearings for a smooth feel and better castability for anglers pitching baits or irons. To help with pitching lures, the reel comes with an oversized spool tension knob for setting the spool to match the size of the bait or lures. The new Accurate Ascender is a great option for anglers wanting to take their first step in high-performance conventionals while still being more economical. While the 300 and 400 are the only sizes available currently, more sizes are planned for the future.
