
Come and enjoy a free weekend of fishing this weekend, Feb. 15-16, in Michigan. Happening for two days twice a year, anyone can go out and enjoy what the waters of Michigan have to offer for free. All fishing license fees will be waived this weekend for two days, and both Michigan residents and out-of-state visitors can go fish Michigan inland water bodies and Great Lakes for all species of fish. However, do keep in mind that all fishing regulations do still apply. Additionally, a Recreation Passport will not be required for angler entry into state parks and boating access sites during this Free Fishing Weekend.
This is the perfect weekend for anglers to take out first-timers, who might not want to or be able to commit money for fishing.
