This is a new hybrid lure that combines a fast-dropping lipless bait with a wide-gliding hard bait to give anglers tons of control in the water column. With a sleek, minnow profile body, the Ripfish rapidly falls through the water column to where the fish are suspending, while having an erratic lateral action with a ton of movement. This makes the Berkley Ripfish an excellent option for vertical and forward-facing sonar presentations.
The Berkley Ripfish has a flat-bottom design and has been precisely tuned for balance, letting the lure instantly respond to angler input, easily darting, gliding, or hovering on command. The lure’s design imposes crisp vibrations into the water and features a high-pitched rattle for a larger sound profile. Add to that the lure’s excellent castability and fast sink rate, it is an excellent option for trying to finesse spookier fish.
