[ICAST 2025] The NEW Award Winning Quantum Merit Spinning Reel

Quantum Fishing is here at ICAST 2025 showing off a new spinning reel, the Quantum Merit. This is a new spinning reel that plans to redefine affordable fishing tackle, offering premium features that anglers typically see with higher-priced spinning reels. Part of the 2025 Best Rod & Reel Combo of the ICAST 2025 New Product Showcase, the Quantum Merit comes with the Quantum Sealoq 6 technology. This is equivalent to IPX6 sealing standards for reel, keeping the internals safe from water, salt, and sand intrusion. The drag of the reel is a CFX200 Carbon Fiber drag system that produces a smooth and consistent drag curve that is capable of capping out at 15lbs to 35lbs, depending on the reel size. The reel body and rotor are constructed with a high-strength graphite, with aluminum sideplates on the rotor for reinforcement. The Quantum Merit aims to strike an ideal balance between durability and lightweight performance. The Quantum Merit spinning reel will be available in sizes 2500 to 8000 and has an MSRP of $99.95 to $149.95, depending on the model. These spinning reels will be on shelves this Fall.
