[ICAST 2025] The NEW Okuma Tesoro Lever Drag Jigging Reel

Okuma Fishing Tackle is at ICAST 2025, proudly announcing the launch of an Asian-Jigging market-inspired reel, the new Tesoro Lever Drag Jigging reel. Made to meet the demands of saltwater jigging, where the majority of the fight relies on the strength of the reel, the Lesoro Lever Drag has been designed from the ground up to meet the power and performance needs of jigging anglers.  The core of the reel is the rigid 6061-T6 aluminum frame, machined from a single solid block. The sides plates of the reel are both forged and then machined from aluminum to ensure alignment and strength, even under the 46 lbs of drag force that the reel can exert. Talking of the drag, the Tesoro Lever Drag comes with a Carbonite Dual Force Drag system that has drag washers on both sides of the spool to apply even and smooth pressure. Getting into the internals of the reel, the reel features XL gearing built with an oversized 303-grade stainless steel drive and pinion gears. Alongside the gearing, there are 9 corrosion-resistant stainless bearings and 2 thrust bearings for a long-lasting, smooth feel to the reel. As well as a triple Anti-reverse system that uses dual one-way bearings backed by a mechanical ratchet, eliminating handle back play. And finally, the reel features a spool lock that lets anglers easily break off when they are snagged on the bottom, so no need to grab the spool to keep the drag from slipping while you struggle with trying to pop off your snagged jigs. The feature-packed Tesoro Lever Drag Jigging Reel is available in both left and right-handed models with an MSRP of $449.99.
