St. Croix Rods has announced that they are bringing out their next generation of saltwater rods with the new ROGUE-V family of conventional and spinning rods. The new Rogue V Boat, Jig, and Slow Pitch rods are all some of the strongest and most durable rods that St. Croix has made to date. Made with a Matrix Composite Blank that utilizes strong and durable woven E-glass, mixed with SCII carbon that uses the FRS (fortified resin system) for added flexural strength and reduced weight. The durable and corrosion-resistant guides on these 39 models of rods are made of stainless steel with alconite rings, which are all “K-style”. Each of these rods comes with a 5-year transferable warranty backed by St. Croix Superstar Service. MSRP for the rods ranges from $195 to $235, depending on the model. The Rogue-V Boat rods are going to be available this September, with the Rogue-V Jig and Rogue-V Slow Pitch available this October.
