DAIWA‘s new salt-focused Coastal SV TW 150 premium baitcaster is now available. Building on the Coastal lineup, the new Coastal SV TW 150 fits right in as a utilitarian workhorse that can handle most inshore tasks. This is a midweight baitcaster that has been loaded with features to work great with midsized lures. That way, anglers don’t have to repurpose freshwater reels in the harsher salt environment. This reel features corrosion resistant ball bearings (CRBB), shielded ball bearings that keep sand and grit out, to make for a true saltwater grade reel. That, plus DAIWA’s hyperdrive high-strength brass gearing, makes for an incredibly tough reel that only needs a rinse of freshwater after each fishing season to keep on going for years to come.
