The story behind Sourwood Ridge Pantry

We keep about forty hives on the ridge behind our house, and in summer the sourwood trees bloom white all along the hollow. That's where our honey comes from.

The rest of the pantry grew out of Grandma's recipe box: strawberry and blackberry jam, peach butter and the dill pickles everybody asks for at church dinners. Everything is made in small batches in our farm kitchen and sealed by hand.
